What's New!
- On July 14, I celebrate 30 years playing the dulcimer. Yippee!
- The long-awaited companion CDs to Striking
Out and Winning! are finally here! Go to the
Order Form now to order.
- The Ouch page, devoted to musician's injuries for
hammered dulcimer and autoharp especially, continues to be updated as more
information comes to the fore. Don't hurt while you play (no pain is
the higher gain); get
solutions here!
- Speaking of Body Mapping, if you're already in pain playing dulcimer or autoharp,
I am now offering video consults to help troubleshoot what's going on (it's
better being here, of course, but "here" can be quite far away).
Unlike video lessons, the video consult is a one-time event, constructed by
you according to the instructions I will send you so that I can see what you're doing that's causing the pain,
as well as make suggestions how to reverse it. Need more
information? .
- Check out the ergonomically friendly hammers
in The Marketplace. Dulcimer hammers always need to be an extension of
the player, and so it's important that the handles especially are shaped in a way to
encourage this (not all are). Take a
look now.
- B&B lessons: A hammered dulcimer player from Seattle came here for
five days of private lessons. You
can come here, or I can come to you (either way, I still make pizza for
dinner one night). Click
here for more information.
- The page devoted to composition, both choral and instrumental, now has
more sample pages linked to it. Click
here.
- For diatonic autoharpists, there are MIDI
files to go along with the music in my articles published at "The
Diatonic Corner" in Autoharp
Quarterly. Click
here for the list of files, and to select the file you wish to hear.
- If you're on Shadrach Productions'
mailing list (you are from the time you sign up or order something until you move and don't say so, or you die), has YOUR snail address changed? Update
your information here. And is your e-mail address listed as
well? Or has that e-dress changed? Help me keep all of these items
current so I can stay in touch from time to time (about six times a year).
My best to you,
Lucille
