(photo by Jack Osborne) Welcome to my web
site! I've assembled a full array of information and merchandise for fans, listeners, musicians, dulcimer players and autoharpists alike. I hope
you enjoy browsing these pages as much as I've enjoyed creating them. Sit back, relax, and enjoy
your visit. And
come back often. More information will be added periodically.
I've been performing on the
dulcimer since 1978, and added diatonic autoharp
in 1990. Check out where I'm playing next,
and preview a concert program. Church
music is a specialty, too; in addition to prelude and offertory music, I
improvise to hymns played on the organ while the congregation sings. Need
music for a special occasion? See the selected
list of solo repertoire,
which is great for weddings, parties, department-store
promotional events, and the like.
For dulcimer and autoharp
players (and anyone else who's interested), I discuss a topic of musical
interest in Thoughts of Note. This page will change its subject matter from time to time, so be sure to
visit it often, or even bookmark it.
For the shopper in you, there are two
sales areas (hmmm, a virtual mall!). First, visit The Marketplace,
where you can buy listening-for-pleasure goodies and great instructional
materials. Be sure to check out The Hall Closet
for the occasional instrument or factory-second bargain.
As the only dulcimer
accompanist of choirs in the state of Colorado, and one of a handful
nationally, I'm eager to stay in touch with choral conductors as well as
other dulcimer accompanists around the country. (If you're a dulcimer
accompanist, please fill out the
form so I can make this information available to choral conductors in or
near your area as they
have need.) Visit my choral
music page, and be sure to check out my article in the
September 2002 issue of The Choral Journal.
Got a tune or song you've composed
but don't know how to write down? With the help of my very picky ear (no pun intended), I can
transcribe them for
you.
Don't see what you're looking for? Got a problem getting around this site?
Something else dulcimer or autoharp related?
Enjoy your visit!
Thank you for being visitor number
today!
